The Finger Lakes and Southern Tier (FLST) IPA Network consists of agencies providing behavioral health services: outpatient mental health and rehabilitative services, residential, Peer, detoxification/withdrawal, care management, inpatient and outpatient substance use disorder services including opioid treatment options, recovery and drop-in centers, harm reduction, and prevention services. This network serves approximately 20,000 individuals per year and collaborates on multiple quality and engagement projects.

To identify opportunities, resources, and leadership for our behavioral health member organizations to improve the integration, quality & efficiency of services delivered to their clients, and to increase access to critically needed behavioral health services in our communities

FAQs

  • An IPA is an Independent Provider Association. This is a group of independent providers who join together to reduce overhead costs, participate in collective contracting, share data and resources, and more. FLST is a behavioral health IPA meaning all the members provide mental health or substance use services. For more information, visit What We Do.

  • Currently, FLST members provide services in Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates counties.

  • FLST collaborates with community based organizations, hospitals and healthcare systems, managed care organizations, local and state government, other behavioral health IPAs, physical health providers, health information exchanges, and more.
